| What is Permanent Makeup: Permanent makeup is an art not a science and is done using pigment not ink so it fades over time .The sun, skin care products, medications, smoking, and different types of skin can cause this to happen at a different rate for each individual. It is a wonderful thing that the pigments fade over time this enables us to make changes to color and shape over the years. Once a year maintenance touchup is needed to keep color fresh and true. It can take multiple appointments to complete a look and can wear differently on each individual. When it comes to permanent makeup the first three years of touchups are the most important. This is where we can adjust the color to wear true to form, similar to finding the perfect hair color. The longer you wait for touchups you will see color changing to a orangey or ashy, and sometimes pink in tone. This happening is from going too long without a touchup and this is not the artists fault. |

Who will you speak with?

Answering The Phone:
You will speak with Cortney, Hannah, Rosalinda or Antoinette when calling the front desk. Cortney has been working for Permatech sense early 2010. In 2009 she went through the permanent training program so that she is capable of answering any questions you might have that this site may not answer for you. Hannah is new and just learning to run the front desk so please be patient with her. Rosalinda and Antoinette are the artists in the studio and sometimes are available to speak with you, but when they are working Cortney and Hannah will take care of you. |

What you can expect?
|
Your Consultation:
We will discuss what procedure you are interested in having done. What look you want to achieve and if we have any suggestions to guide you in achieving that look, we will and talk about colors and shape. Then we do a pencil test that will show you what the outcome will look like with a picture to take home so you can continue looking at it days later. Now you are ready to make your first appointment. The first appointment will take one and a half hours and there will be one touch up needed thereafter within a six week period. Consultations are free. Consultations can be done the same day of the appointment.
Your Appointment:
When you arrive we will do a consultation on color and shape and discus any changes. Before pictures will be taken at this point. There will be a topical numbing solution applied on the area. When the area is fully numb we will then draw in a shape for guidance and pick out the colors to be used. Then we will discuss the desired shape, color and agree together again so that they are perfect. Then we put in a small amount of color and numb the area as we will do continually throughout the procedure. You will be taking part with a hand held mirror to make sure we are on the right track, but this is mainly for your comfort. When we are finished we will send you home with instructions to follow. These instructions must be followed directly and can be found under Care Instructions on the right side of this page.
What is a Pencil Test:
The pencil test is a full proof way to assure you of the right outcome. If you need guidance on what your outcome should be we will help you using our techniques as makeup artists to find the right look for you. You can book a consultation and wear your makeup to the appointment so we can see what you are used to wearing. Or bring your favorite pencils to the appointment so we can match the color.

How to book an appointment?
Booking An Appointment:
Booking an appointment with Antoinette could take some patience because of her 20+ year's experience she has a large clientele. Booking an appointment with Antoinette could take up to a month. Rosalinda is one of the first to join the group here at Permatech. So when booking an appointment and if it takes too long, or you need to get in for an occasion make sure you book far enough in advance so you can get in. You can book up to 2 months in advance. If you are a new client to Permatech:
We now have a NEW "Pay as you go" program. This program enables you to pay for the first appointment and for the second appointment separately. But remember the first and the second appointments should be booked at the latest 3mths apart, preferably 6 weeks. If you wait too long to book your second appointment you might need to start over. If you are new to Permatech but have had previous work done by someone else and you want a touch up you will possibly need a second touch up appointment at a cost. Reason being many times color, shape or changing solid brows to the hairstroke technique takes more work.
If you are a previous client to Permatech:
You would book a touchup service of 1, 2, or 3 procedures depending on what is needed. If it has been over 2 or 3 years or you want to change color or shape you will need to book a second touchup or spot touch appointment at a cost.
We do the best we can to make the cost affordable our rates at Permatech are at a low in comparison to other places because we believe in less is more.

EYEBROWS:
If you just need to fill in spots in your brows that are missing, single hairs will work for you. If you have no hair on the outer sides I can add a few different color hair strokes to match your remaining hair. If you have no hair at all I can use up to three colors in the brow to take on the appearance of natural hair stokes and color, adding highlights for texture and low lights for depth.

EYELINER:
If you don’t want to look like you have anything on we can enhance the lash line for fuller thicker looking lashes. If you are looking for a smudged shadowed look for softness (charcoal, brown, khaki, or soft auburn) the sky is the limit on color. If you want full eye liner thick or thin this is not a problem. |

LIPS:
When it comes to the lips you had when you were a baby No problem! If you would like to enhance your natural lip line soft and simple. If you would like the luscious pout lined look we can use up to three different colors to achieve the pout you want. If you want full lip color, lots and lots of color, great.

| TOUCH UP APPOINTMENTS: Are done once a year and take only one visit depending on its age.

| A SPOT TOUCH UP: This procedure is in place to follow a touch up appointment. For example you came in for a touch up on your lips and you decided that you wanted to change your color or shape. There might be a need for another layer of color to adjust it correctly.

TATTOO REMOVAL: Remove those unwanted tattoos! The age of the tattoo determines how many appointments will be needed for completion of removal. The removal procedure is similar to the application of a tattoo; it can take 1-3 appointments. ElininInk is Cynergy’s exclusive tattoo removal product! EliminInk™ Tattoo Remover is applied into tissue utilizing a technique similar to that used by the original tattoo or permanent makeup artist.
Magnesium oxides and other ingredients in EliminInk™ “bind” to the iron oxides in the tattoo inks or color pigments in permanent makeup and safely lift them to the surface through oxidation. A scab will form over the treated area that must be kept dry until it falls off naturally. Once the scab has fallen off, DermRenu™, a scar inhibitor, is to be applied topically to the treated area two to three times per day for up to eight weeks. DermRenu™, another revolutionary product developed by Cynergy™ must be used in conjunction with EliminInk™ during the tattoo removal process to reduce the chance of scarring.
